What to Expect:

  • A dynamic keynote by Steven T. Collis, law professor at the University of Texas School of Law and author of Habits of a Peacemaker: 10 Habits to Change Our Potentially Toxic Conversations into Healthy Dialogues

  • Two rounds of engaging breakout sessions offered on the following topics:

    • The HumanUnity Project - Presented by Nick Ramos, Artist
    • Escaping Genocide, Teaching Peace - Presented by Dr. Clementine Msengi, Author and Educator
    • The Fabulous, Frightening World of Generative AI: How Might It Be Used for Peacebuilding? - Presented by Dr. Christie Parker – Wheeler, President of the Rotary Club of Georgetown, and Mike Burke, President of the Rotary Club of Sun City
    • Peace Gardens and Peace Fellowships – Peacebuilding Around the World - Presented by Joe Cerami, Peace Garden Coordinator for the Rotary Club of Georgetown
    • Putting Positive Peace into Practice - Presented by Georgianne Hewett, Executive Director of the Brightwell Center for Justice and Peace
       
  • A delicious lunch served with a side of healthy dialogue and meaningful networking
