The Rotary Club of Georgetown TX held its first meeting of the new 2023-24 year under the leadership of President Jeff Cartledge, and to kick off the new year with a bang we welcomed THREE new members to our club, Michael Shaw, Andrew Lourigan and Terral Smith, pictured here with their sponsors (Pres Jeff stood in for Amy Bawcom who was unable to attend.)
Members were also treated with a presentation on Rotary Leadership by PDG Dian Edwards, who covered the many opportunities which exist within the organization. From leading a sub-committee or chairing a full committee or project, to Club, Club Foundation and District 5870 opportunities, there are plenty of options depending on a member's willingness to serve.
