Month after month, members of the Rotary Club of Georgetown TX help the Texas Ramp Project, a 501(c)3 entity, build accessibility ramps for the housebound members of our community. All of the beneficiary selection, project design, and material procurement is handled by TRP, but the coordination of volunteers is handled by Rotarians.
For November, the team was assigned a fairly straightforward ramp project - at least they thought so originally - at a home in Bartlett, located in eastern Williamson County. A dozen hearty souls braved the onset of winter weather and tackled the project with enthusiasm. Notwithstanding some design miscalculations, the project team completed things in roughly four hours.
