On August 31st, the Rotary Club of Georgetown honored Korin Hardt with a Paul Harris Fellow.

Korin is a grade 6 science teacher at Forbes Middle School and provides the leadership for a very successful Interact Club at the school.  At a time when we did not have someone to head up this endeavor, Korin stepped up and she now is the leader of forty (40) members.

This Interact  club is very active, having done everything from planting trees and building ramps to running coat and canned food drives.  Volunteering at  the animal shelter and making cat toys for shelter inhabitants is also part of their activities.

In bestowing this Paul Harris Fellow, we recognize the special efforts made by Korin in bringing new vitality and energy to this club.
