Rotary Club of Georgetown Member Glenn Towery Competing for National Recognition
Glenn has been a dedicated Rotarian for nearly a decade, and is known for his passion for service—particularly in support of veterans. A Vietnam combat veteran and recipient of a Congressional Commendation, Glenn has devoted much of his life to helping fellow veterans, including founding the Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel and the Austin Veterans Arts Festival.
An award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter, Glenn also served as Executive Producer for the Rotary Club of Georgetown’s Human Trafficking Awareness video. His current vision is to create a first-of-its-kind television series focused on healing veterans and their families who are impacted by PTSD.
The Entrepreneur of Impact competition is a national, vote-driven initiative, with the winner receiving a $25,000 prize and mentorship from Daymond John. Glenn’s goal is to use this platform to further expand his work in veteran advocacy and storytelling.
We invite our members and the community to support Glenn as he continues this meaningful work.
